[22 Nov 2015] Train Ride to 阿公阿婆's House

Yeah this week we went back to mummy's hometown, i.e. Bukit Batu. It's school holiday so 阿姨 they all will go back to 阿公阿婆's house. Mummy was so excited as it had been 6months since we went to 阿公阿婆's house. Mummy booked the train tickets as usual but baba changed his mind and decided not to go with us again :(

We woke up in the morning to catch the train at 9.30am. The train was half an hour late and this caused 大姨 waited in the car near Malaysia custom for almost 1 hour.

We reached 阿公阿婆's house at about 11am. Mummy was so happy. Mummy bought some of 太公's favourite snacks to worship. 太公used to dote on mummy's a lot in the past when she was still alive and mummy used to more attached to 太公too.

Soon 二姨、三姨and 四姨also reached 阿公阿婆's house. Mummy and the rest of阿姨姨丈 had yummy Hakka cuisines which prepared by 阿婆。

Afternoon we went to mummy's favourite old coffeeshop, 啊珠auntie's coffeeshop.

In the evening, 大姨drove us to Malaysia Custom to catch the train at 7pm to back to Singapore. Mummy carried 2 tins of milk powder back as all your milk powder supplies are running out soon. Although it was so heavy to carry you and all the stuffs back, for the sake of savings it's worthwhile haha as now it's difficult to convince your daddy to help to 'import' your stuffs all the way from Malaysia since he finds it's troublesome haha

[21 Nov 2015] New Childcare Center

Today we brought you to polyclinic again to get the medicine for diarrhea as 'standby medicine'. We ran into one of your previous caregiver in infant care center, Mdm Koh. She was there for some medical test and check. Baba mama had a chat with her and got to know that there is a new childcare center named E-bridge opened near our house. According to her this is a subsidiary company of renowned EtonHouse International Preschool. The location is a few bus stop away from our house.

Mummy checked online and came to learn that EtonHouse is a big hoo-ha preschool and this triggered mummy's interest to get baba to bring you along to have a look at the new center. We were told that there is a parents information session take place from 9am-11am but we still need to go to another childcare which located opposite the mrt station, i.e. Starlearners to have a meet-up with the supervisor there. Mummy has been searching around a place your name in waiting list for your enrollment next year in April as the current center does not have any confirmed vacancy for you when you turn 18months. This makes mummy so worried as if we could not secure a place for you next year in April then you have no place in any of the childcare after you withdraw from school after 18months.

We left the polyclinic then rush to Starlearners and had a visit. Starlearners is a private childcare center with a lot of good reviews. The other concern mummy has over the center is mummy is not so comfortable that all different classes mix in the same compound without partitions. Mummy can't help but keep wondering how noisy will it be when all children gather in the same place!
We left Starlearners for E-bridge and we were so amazed over the beautiful architecture.

Mummy enquired about the registration process and was so interested to enrol you to this center but mummy is concerned over the bus trip as it will take about 5-10minutes from our house and we need to take 2 different buses to reach the destination.

We went back home, mummy bathed you and let you have a nap. Afternoon mummy read you stories and we played in your favourite study room.

[20 Nov 2015] Homecoming @NYP with baba mama

Today baba mama are scheduled to join the homecoming event which organized by Nanyang Polytechnic for all alumni students. Baba and mama graduated from NYP and we got to know each other during final year project.
We were glad to bring you along to join the event and we met up with uncle Bang Lun, auntie Chiau Yi and auntie Winnie.

[19 Nov 2015] Farewell gift for Teacher Ann

Mummy prepared a farewell gift for Teacher Ann and planned to give ot to her on your behalf to thank her for taking great care of you. Mummy knew you have been very close to her and attach to her since the time she spends with you during weekdays are so much longer than mummy does due to job commitment. A token of appreciation to Teacher Ann and hope all the best to her!

[15 Nov 2015] Long Q at 三巴旺白米粉

三芭旺白米粉is very famous in Singapore. Everytime if 阿公阿婆come to our house we will definitely try to bring them to have a try.
The queue was so long when we were there so baba initiated he will stay in the queue while I brought you to somewhere to feed you with porridge.
We went to a shop where it sells desserts. Mummy ordered some desserts so that we can stay there to feed you.
After about 20minutes, finally it was our turn to get a table at 白米粉. We shifted back to the restaurant and joined baba for dinner.
We went to Sembawang Shopping Center as usual before we headed back home.

[16 Nov 2015] 阿公阿婆回家咯

阿公阿婆left our house for home in Malaysia by bus today. You seemed to have sensed that they are leaving our house and you crawled to their room abd played with them before mummy brought you to the infant care center.
At night, we had a video call with 阿婆. You put your hand by your ear as if you are calling 阿婆 with a phone. So cute!
Tonight you kept throwing tantrum and even bite mummy's hand. Mummy guessed you must be vexed over the pain of teething but please don't bite mummy ok? Mummy bought a lot of teethers to you already! =(
Haa, reading time to calm you down a little bit before mummy put you to sleep again.

[14 Nov 2015] A Saturday with 阿公阿婆

Today we went to Aston at Sembawang Shopping Center to have the dinner with 阿公阿婆. After dinner we went to Giant supermarket and you sat on the baby seat which attached to the shopping trolley for the first time! Haha yeah
