Mummy really could not sleep well due to too much anxieties and worries. Mummy fed you last bottle of milk at 2.30am so that you will not feel too hungry in the morning. The time seemed to have frozen and the time passed too slowly. Mummy only fell asleep at 5.30am in the morning then woke up again at 6.45am to feed you some warm water as there will be no food, no drink and nothing at all for you after 7am.
Baba drove us to hospital today. You behaved exceptionally quiet today and quietly leaned against 阿婆 throughout the journey. Then you fell asleep...without making any noise or throwing tantrum!
We arrived at the hospital at 8am and it was still too early as we were supposed to come for the registration at 9.30am instead. Hence 爸爸妈妈 and 阿公阿婆 proceeded to have breakfast at level 1.
After breakfast, you were awake too but didn't throw tantrum because you were hungry too..you are such a good and sensible girl for mummy! We finally registered you at about 9.30am then your number was called again to start the actual process.
There is only one parent allowed to the surgery room and mummy told baba that I will go with you instead. You seemed to be very scared and the tears were rolling within the eyes but you still behaved so well. Mummy was so glad that you endured all the fears and anxieties to go through this but don't worry 恩, mummy will be with you till you fell asleep from the anesthesia and waited for you right outside of the operating theater.
Though it was quite tensed for mummy to be with you in the operating theater, the doctors put in a lot of efforts to make the ambience to be more relaxing as in to blow bubbles abd even sing. The aesthetician chose the banana essence and added into the gas to make you sleep. Mummy made you sit on mummy's lap and hugged you tightly while the aesthetician put the mask near to you and let you inhale the gas. You were calmed but struggled and wanted to be released from mummy's arms. Mummy will not forget the way looked at mummy while you struggled. The tears filled your eyes and you fell asleep right after that. Mummy was told to leave the operating theater right after that so that the surgeon can perform the surgery. Mummy waited at the waiting area together with 阿公阿婆 while baba went to the washroom. The time passed so slowly and mummy could not just sat down calmly. 15 minutes had passed and a doctor came out to inform mummy that the operation was completed but you were still not awake yet. Mummy was told to wait inside a room so that mummy can go to you once you are awake. The time passed slowly again, 5 minutes seemed to be the longest hour in mummy's life! You were finally awake and mummy was guided to the observation room to see you. You lied on the bed and cried but stopped crying right after mummy carried you. You seemed to be okay and able to finish a bottle of milk. You must have been starved for long hours but you are really a brave girl. Mummy is so proud of you! Thank you so much for enduring it so well and sorry to cause you to go through this. Your condition is good and we were allowed to go home at about 12.45pm
