Today is Sunday. We woke up early in the morning while baba was still sleeping. This morning mummy made some pancakes for you as your breakfast again since you seemed to like it so much.
Hehe since the pancake kept dropping off from your small hands, you were clever enough to have a bite in the middle of the pancake then inserted your middle finger to hold eat while eating! Hehe
After breakfast, you had your favourite bombom time in the big pail with a lot of toys.
Mummy has been planning for a trip to bring you along before you turn 2. Though mummy booked the first ticket for you to Bangkok last year, baba objected and did not allow mummy to bring you along and joined the family trip with 阿公阿婆, the rest of 阿姨姨丈 and all gor gor姐姐. This time round mummy wishes to bring you to the country which mummy wishes to go the most, i.e. Iceland. Though we would not be able to see the Northern Lights during that period of time since Aurora also becomes active after 15 September, mummy still wishes to take advantage of the infant airfare to bring you along. Baba objected it again by commenting that the travel expenses would be high and you were so young. Mummy proposed to pay the airfare instead and assure baba again and again that mummy will plan the itinerary properly to ensure you will adapt well. Mummy even searched for the night flight which is usually for bedtime hour so that you could sleep in the airplane without to be too cranky.
Baba did not answer mummy directly whether ok to go or not hence mummy kept asking baba to give a definite answer as the airfare keeps increasing as we dragged.
Finally, baba said ok then mummy quickly went online and reserved the return tickets for Singapore to Oslo qith Turkish Airlines then a separate reservation for return tickets for Oslo to Iceland. Yeah finally mummy can bring you to board the plane as promised to you!!! Though mummy forked out a lot on airfare it will definitely be fulfilling as mummy can go to mummy's dream country with you!
Yeah let's count down to our upcoming trip!! We wiĺl be in time to be back in Singapore to celebrate your 2 years old birthday too woohoo!!
Yeah yummy dinner and unconditional love from mummy to you! Hehe
At night, when 奶奶 called baba, she got so angry when she knew that mummy has booked the tickets and planned to bring you to take the long haul flight. She even commented that mummy '不会想' and angry with baba that he did not stop me to do so. Baba was angry after the call and told me not to bring you along anymore....mummy kept persuading baba that even younger infants take the airplane too and we as your parent should have the rights to say what we want to do for you since whatever we do will not please everyone. Baba was vexed initially when mummy said so as he thought mummy was referring to 奶奶. Though mummy really upset that 奶奶 always wants to interfere the way mummy wants to raise you, mummy seriously feels that mummy has the rights to decide what to do while you can't make decision for yourself as a mother. After talking to baba again and again, baba slowly accepted what mummy said and that stopped the argument.
恩, please stay well and cheerful throughout the trip and let everyone knows mummy is right to say so..at least not giving chance to people to criticise mummy as an irresponsible mummy. 我们都要加油!
