Today is a Saturday. Mummy didn't go to Malaysia to see 阿公阿婆 this week as we wanted to bring you out while the haze condition gets better. We have been suffering from bad haze condition due to the fire in Indonesia and the air quality has been very bad which contains a lot of micro particles that will harm our respiratory system. Everyday we have to check PSI at NEA website to understand more about the latest updates.
We decided to bring you to Changi Airport since there is a direct bus from our home and we can minimize to be exposured outdoor for long period of time, i.e. Short walking distance to bus stop too.
You woke up early in the morning as usual. Alamak 恩, can't you sleep a little more during weekends so that mummy can sleep more too? Haha...now you like to hold onto something or even mummy's hand to learn how to walk. You are doing great! No worries, take your time to learn, mummy is happy and proud of your growing process.
After your afternoon nap and fed you with the porridge. We headed to Changi airport by bus.
Mummy really loves fried chicken too much hence I told baba to have dinner at a Korean Fried Chicken Restaurant called 4 Fingers.
You were sleeping while we had fried chickens but mummy woke you up after that as you should not take the nap for that long or you will not be able to fall asleep early at night.
We took a bus back home and it was already 11pm. Haha
Today 琴阿姨made 客家酿豆腐 for mummy. 琴阿姨is mummy's best friend since secondary school and she is someone who helps mummy a lot in life. Oh..too nad, no 酿豆腐for you at your young age yet. Hehe
Video calls with 阿公阿婆has become a daily routine now. During night time after mummy finished cooking, feeding you and bathing you then it will be time to have a short video call with 阿公阿婆.
Mummy wants you keep the small effort to be in contact with 阿公阿婆as it's not easy to get to meet up with them since they reside in Malaysia. You wouldn't know how excited will 阿公阿婆be whenever they get to see you in real person or through the video calls. Small effort big action :) Other than that, mummy also wishes to remind you that without 阿公阿婆, mummy will not be able to become who I am today and also be your mummy. 恩， remember to 感恩 always. Mummy loves you ("v")
It was an ordinary Sunday. As usual you woke up at about 6 plus in the morning and wanted to drink milk. Mummy had to sleep by your cot and played with you for at least 3 hours before you wanted to sleep again. Can't you let me mummy sleep more during weekend?? Hush hush haha
The train service between Singapore and JB has become very very popular now. Mummy wasn't able to get any ticket for the 9.30am slot. Since your daddy will not be going to JB with us so mummy just booked the 8am timeslot instead.
Mummy got up at 6.30am. Got everything prepared then woke you up. It was about 7.15am when we set off from home and mummy assumed we should be there on time to catch the train but mummy.was wrong!
We took the MRT to Woodlands MRT station then transferred to bus and headed to train station. It was very smooth journey till the bus brought us to the junction where all cars and bus lining up there to take turn and go to the checkpoint. Omg, it was so jammed! The traffic was so heavy. The bus which we were taking had got stucked in the same junction for more than 15 minutes and mummy knew we'd definitely miss the train. Hence, mummy sent a message to 二姨who was already waited us at the train station in Malaysia that we will be late and we will take the public bus instead. Oh...what a bad day!!!
We went through all immigration clearance and reached JB at around 9am. 二姨together with阿婆and萱萱姐姐were already waited inside the car for our arrival outside of Malaysia custom.
We boarded the car and headed to 二姨's house.
阿公was so happy to see you and you dashed over to阿公for a hug from mummy's arm. I wondered恩恩must be very excited to get to see阿公 and this made mummy felt so happy as 恩恩likes mummy's 爸爸very much.
We spent quality time with 阿公、阿婆、阿姨、 gor gor and 姐姐。Did you know mummy loves all of them so much and before mummy was pregnant to you no matter how tiring it was mummy would make it to rush back to Malaysia almost every weekend? Mummy has to change this weekly practice as you are still young and daddy is not happy that mummy go back to Malaysia every weekend! Haha...anyway, I'm so thankful 恩恩has been mummy's best companion and been a good girl whenever mummy bring you to Malaysia.
Soon it was evening time again and we needed catch the train at 7pm to go back to Singapore. 大姨and大姨丈dropped us at the custom and we managed to catch the train on time. 恩, remember always感恩whatever you have and the kindness of 阿公阿婆、阿姨姨丈and gor gor姐姐ok?
We arrived Singapore at about 7.05pm. Yeah it was a mere 5minutes train ride! Imagine mummy used to spent at least 2-3 hours just to cross the causeway before there is train service like this haha. We then took a bus to Causeway Point at Woodlands and met up with baba for dinner at Subway.
Today is a Friday so we wondered to eat out today. Picked En up at infant care center then we went back home first. En was in very funny facial expression and suddenly became exceptionally quiet. Then my 6th sense told me it's time to bring her to rush to her potty....yeah she wants to poo!!!!
After we settled her down, we pushed her on a stroller and headed to Sunplaza shopping center.
We had dinner there and I fed En the porridge I cooked. Then we had dessert at the newly opened stalls. I ordered 姜汁炖蛋 and 芋泥.
We enjoyed the desserts a lot, so does En! Ha it's the first time she tried both 酱汁炖蛋 and 芋泥. Haha
I had a dinner date with 诗琴 who is 35 weeks pregnant. This time round I decided to meet her somewhere nearby so that she can go home and rest. I told En the day before that I will not he able to bring her along this time as her 琴阿姨is pregnant as mummy will meet her right after work. I reminded En again in the morning while on the way I carried her to infant care center. I told En, 恩恩，妈咪今天跟琴阿姨一起吃饭。琴阿姨肚子大大，不可以去太远。爸爸今天会带你回家，你在家等妈咪回来！
I guessed somehow she understood as Alan told me that she went to bed by 8pm which is way of earlier than her usual time.
I reached home at about 9.30pm. I settled myself down. Then I heard En cried in the room. I rushed to the room and carried her. She stopped crying immediately and seemed to be happy to see me. I was glad to see this scene. En is such an obedient girl!
