[24 Dec 2015] Christmas Eve

It's Christmas Eve. Mummy was in dilemma whether to apply half a day leave or secretly sneak out of office after lunch so that mummy will be in time to fetch you from infant care center by 2pm. Since mummy's boss is still on leave, one of mummy's colleague, Kwong Ming suggested mummy just left the office directly right after lunch hehe! Mummy had lunch with colleagues then rushed over to the infant care to fetch you. It was drizzling and mummy had no choice but walked under the rain since it was almost 2pm. When mummy reached the center, it was already 2pm and you were the last one who was still in the center. We left the center for home and had a nap.
Baba came back home at about 4pm then we went to Marsiling to have a simple dinner before we headed to 琴阿姨家.
It was the first time for you and baba had a visit to 琴阿姨家ever since she gave birth. It was your first time to see 琴阿姨's baby, 廖欢馨 as well. Hehe you seemed to be so curious when you saw the baby but you seemed to be a little jealous when you saw baba carried her hehe!
We stayed at 琴阿姨家 till about 11pm and wondered whether we should go somewhere to countdown for Christmas but in the end we called the idea off since you already looked so sleepy at that time. A simple Christmas Eve for us in the year of 2015.

[23 Dec 2015] Christmas Gift Exchange at Infant Care Center

Christmas is around the corner. The infant care center had organized a gift exchange among the infants. Parents were told to prepare a gift with value of $3 or below. Mummy bought some extra stationery sets and wrapped one for the gift exchange haha! You got 2 gifts from your friends and mummy let you unwrapped the gifts by yourself hehe

[22 Dec 2015] 冬至

Today is 冬至. You looked happy in the morning when mummy took photos with you.
We went to 爷爷奶奶家 for dinner today and stayed there for a few hours before we went back home as usual.
When we reached home at about 10.30pm, mummy read stories to you and spent some quality time with you before mummy coaxed you to get asleep.

[21 Dec 2015] 潮州鱼圆面

Today mummy didn't cook for dinner hence baba mama went to Sunplaza to have 潮州鱼圆面 and your dinner was nen nen! Haha

[20 Dec 2015] Pre-celebrate 冬至 @阿公阿婆家

Yeah baba agreed to accompany us to go to 阿公阿婆家 after almost 7 months! The last time baba went to 阿公阿婆家was in last May when we attended 琴阿姨's wedding.
22 Dec is winter solstice 冬至. Traditionally family will get together to have 汤圆 which represents reunion 团圆. Since 22 Dec falls on Tuesday, mummy and other 阿姨 decided to go back to 阿公阿婆家 2 days before the actual day to pre-celebrate with 阿公阿婆. 大姨姨丈 not able to join as they needed to go to KL to arrange some ritual ceremonies for 姨丈's late mum who passed away 3 months ago.
We took the train to JB then 2姨姨丈 drove us to 阿公阿婆家. We had yummy yummy meals and 汤圆 which prepared by 阿婆. 阿公阿婆and everyone were so happy to you as everyone dotes on you a lot and it's very rare for us to go to 阿公阿婆家 unless there is someone who can drive us back since baba doesn't really want to spend time and money to borrow car from 爷爷 and drive us instead. We went to the old coffeeshop with 阿婆and 阿姨 in the afternoon then it was almost the time to go to JB to take a train back to Singapore again.
2姨姨丈 dropped us at JB train station then we headed to catch the train which departed at 7pm.
Today we also went to 爷爷奶奶家 as 姑姑wanted to pre-celebrate 姐姐's birthday. When we reached there 奶奶 insisted to ask baba mama to have dinner first then she wanted to look after you. 姑姑approached you and insisted to carry you although you struggled and didn't want to. Then she carried you tightly and talked to you in very fierce way so that you don't struggle and move. Mummy dashed to living room from kitchen and saw that you were trembling and looked so scared. At that moment mummy felt so angry as you did not do anything wrong but 姑姑 treated you in that way. Mummy didn't bother and dashed over to carry you over then brought you to have a shower instead. Oh...mummy wondered how could 姑姑 do that to you...mummy was so fed up but didn't show the unhappiness too much or baba will be unhappy again. I hope 姑姑 won't do that again or mummy will definitely have some argument with her! Nobody has the rights to treat you in that way since you have done nothing wrong!

[19 Dec 2015] Flu Vaccine but...

Was scheduled to bring you to get the influenza vaccine but was told you are still not fit to take any injection since you just got infected by Chicken Pox 28 Nov 2015. The doctor advised mummy to bring you to go for the influenza vaccination after 27 Dec 2015 as he said even all the Chicken Pox blisters had dried up but your body is still not fully recovered yet. Mummy called a clinic near our house to enquiry about the availability of the vaccine and its price as it will be difficult to make next appointment at Polyclinic if we were to defer our appointment further but the clinic refused to let mummy to reserve the vaccine. Mummy shall call the clinic again on 28 Dec 2015 to check again.

Instead, mummy requested to see a doctor while we were still in the clinic so that mummy could request the doctor to prescribe a good moisturizer for your dry skin which caused by the Chicken Pox and some medicines for diarrhea, flu and fever as standby. Ha these added to your so called standby medicine bank which mummy prepared for 不时之需.

We went to 奶奶's house for lunch after that and spent a few hours there. Mummy bought 2 new story books for you and you seemed to like it a lot :)

[18 Dec 2015] Sticking Tongue Out

Nowadays you like to stick your tongue out but you must have been wondering why you can't stick your tongue out fully. Bear with it, be patient, soon the lingual frenulum will be successfully released and you will bid goodbye to the heart shaped tongue. It will be fine! It must be fine!

[13 Dec 2015] Garden by the Bay

Today 阿公阿婆、阿姨姨丈and gor gor 姐姐 came to our house as mummy managed to grab free tickets to an exhibition at Garden by the Bay.
Everyone reached our home at about 9.45am both mummy and you had already dressed up and ready to go but baba said he wanted to wait till his clothes in the washing machine are done with washing. Oh no...we will be late but everyone just said wait...
As mummy saw the time passed by, we will definitely be late if we stayed longer as the free tickets only entitled the entry by 12noon. Mummy initiated everyone proceed and walk to MRT station then baba will catch up when he is ready. It was almost drizzling and everyone moved fast.
We took quite long time to reach Marina Bay MRT station for train transfer but we were already late for the free entry. To our surprise, we didn't see 3姨and family alighted from the train and no sign of them at all. Both 3姨and姨丈's handphones are not contactable. Baba initiated to take the train to City Hall MRT station as we guessed they could have alighted at the wrong stop as most of the passengers got off there for transfer; whereas mummy led the rest of them to proceed and transfer to Bayfront Station and walk to Garden by the Bay.
It was drizzling and we were late for the free exhibition. Baba came back to join us in a short while after failed to trace 3姨 and family at City Hall MRT Station. We all wondered what happened and started to worry as they are not familiar with places im Singapore but luckily after quite some time we saw 3姨 and family walked towards us from the other direction. Oh no..we were then learned that 3姨 had fainted in the train and quickly got off the train at Ang Mo Kio for a breath as the train was packed and she was not well too...luckily she was fine then everyone agreed to go and grabs some foods at Marina Bay Sands since it was still drizzling.

We went back to Garden by the Bay after our late lunch. Mummy proceeded to purchase the entrance tickets and tickets for the shuttle bus since it was still drizzling but baba threw tantrum at mummy as he disagreed to let mummy to bring you along although we will be taking the shuttle bus. Mummy didn't want to argue further hence mummy just had to pass the tickets to baba so that he could go over to join us when he thinks it's ok or when the rain stopped. Sometimes mummy just has to endure to avoid any unhappiness events since it's a rare family outing and mummy didn't want anyrhing to spoil it.

Garden by the bay was beautifully decorated with Christmas theme displays and it was ao cold. Mummy purposely made a few calls to baba and checked your whereabouts. After about 1 hour, finally baba brought you to Garden by thr Bay to join us..finally!

We walked to the temporary Christmas market before headed to mrt station and took a train back to Sembawang. 

Baba and mama brought 阿公阿婆, 阿姨姨丈and gor gor 姐姐 to try the new branch of 白米粉 which located at Sunplaza. After the dinner, 阿公阿婆, 阿姨姨丈and gor gor 姐姐 bid goodbye to us and left for Malaysia.

Let's hope 阿公阿婆, 阿姨姨丈and gor gor 姐姐 will come to Singapore and visit us soon again.
