Mummy went to fetch you after work as usual today. To my surprise, while Teacher Ann carried you she walked to the bedroom to get something out and pass to mummy. Yes, it's a farewell gift that Teacher Ann bought for you. Teacher Ann seemed to be really upset over leaving, especially you. She wiped her tears off with tissue when mummy talked to you. I thanked Teacher Ann for the gift. You seemed to be very happy to bid goodbye to Teacher Ann and mummy started to worry whether you knew that she will be leaving soon and will no longer take care of you in the infant care center.
At night, mummy passed you the gift and told you that this is a farewell gift from Teacher Ann. Mummy even told you that Teacher Ann will be leaving soon and will no longer take care of you. You seemed to understand what mummy told you and your facial expressions made mummy felt heartbroken. Anyway, it's a beautiful bag with Minnie Mouse print! You like it a lot and could not bear to let mummy keep it for you.
Mummy knew you must be very sad but mummy wished to let you know that to be apart with someone in life is just parts and parcels. Mummy used to get hurt over the separation, no matter with Teachers, Friends, Families and others...but in life, it's inevitable! You need to learn to let go when you need to! Anyone will leave you but mummy will just stay with you physically or mentally whenever mummy still has a breath. That's mummy's love for you.
