[30 Nov 2015] Day 1 of MC for Chicken Pox

Baba and mama applied a day off today to bring you to Yishun Polyclinic today. Basically we somehow confirmed you have been infected by Chicken Pox but as a standard procedures we still need to go to a clinic to certify this.
In the morning, mummy noticed there are a lot new developed pox on your face and body and you also started developed fever. You looked exceptionally impatient and frustrated though.
Right after the registration, I informed one of the nurse that you are having chicken pox then she immediately changed your Q number and told mummy to bring you to an isolated waiting area.
Soon we were attended by a dr and a nurse in a special consultation room. Why is it so special???? Well, no air-con and both the doctor and nurse were fully covered. Haha yeah a safer way to prevent contagious disease to spread to them haha. Doctor examined on you ajd confirmed that you have been infected by Chicken Pox virus and today is the 3rd day since last Saturday when mummy first spotted the dot on your eye. You were given 10 days of MC and we are supposed to return to Polyclinic for review on 09 Dec 2015 to get doctor to certify that you are fit to.go back to school. Though mummy had already made appointment for you to get the vaccination for chicken pox on 19 Dec 2015 but you get infected before the scheduled date..alamak haha
After seeing the doctor, we were told to wait outside for someone who will deliver the medicines to us. You were prescribed with Calamine lotion, powder to stop diarrhea, syrup for fever, runny nose and cough. They did not want us to stay any longer and told us to make payment next time hahaha
When we were home you still appeared to be very excited and normal. You played and screamed with excitement but your fever started kicking in more often. The temperature remains above 38.6C. Mummy fed you Paracetamol every 6 hours but your fever still not subsided to normal temperature. I told baba I would sleep beside your cot till you are fully recovered as mummy really too worried that whether your body can combat this at such young age. Mummy started to measure your temperature every now and then. Your body temperature shot up to 39.9C at night and that was terrifying one!
