[11 Dec 2015] Education Plan

Mummy had been searching around to find a good education savings plan for you. Mummy liaised with an agent from Diyinsurance for couple a months and almost wanted to sign up a policy with him. DiyInsurance will rebate 30% of the total commission they earn from the policy no matter which policy we are going to sign for. Mummy shortlisted Income VivoChild and TM Education plan with annual premium of about $2700. When everything was almost prepared, mummy found a limited time period promotion which launched by CIMB bank, i.e. The first month of premium will be reimbursed if there is any new sign up of either Income Vivochild or TM Education. This is exactly just right to meet mummy's shorlisted policy! There is one particular prerequisite is to open a Junior Saver Account for you with minimum deposit of $1000.
Today baba wanted to claim a day off from his boss and he told his colleagues that the reason why he wanted to take a day off is because mummy got scalded while cooking and will be going to see a doctor. Anyway, mummy just preceeded to see a doctor in order not to provoke him further. I told baba clearly that today will be a long day as I need to go to E-bridge Preschool to check the vacancy for you, then rush to CIMB bank which located at Raffles Place to check with the banker regarding this promotion and after that mummy may need to rush to Tanjong Pagar to look for Diyinsurance if the promotion at CIMB is a gimmick. Mummy even told baba that I will bring you to go shopping after that since you have recovered although there are scabs. Baba acknowledged all these and took a day off as planned but it seemed to be a disaster for mummy again :(
First we went to E-bridge after breakfast, baba seemed to be impatient and confronted why must we come here...it's okay, for your sake mummy can endure and tried to cheer your baba. Anyway, mummy was informed that all the vacancies for Pre-nursery class have been taken up but there is still vacancy for infant.
We left E-bridge and rushed to CIMB bank at Raffles Place. It was a downpour and mummy and you got stuck at CIMB bank while baba looked for a carpark. After some discussions with the banker, mummy decided to sign up TM Education Plan with 10 years premium ($2686.10 per annum) policy term of 19 years. You can start using the payout starting from 19 years old for expenses in University. Mummy called baba for input for he had no comments at all...as usual, mummy made the decision for you after so much of research prior shortlist those plans. Baba started threw tantrum and vent anger at mummy again as he said mummy took too long at the bank. Mummy also didn't want to stay for that long but it's standard procedure to sign and go through all the forms...mummy just wanted to grab the promotion as it will valid till 31 Dec 2015 only...mummy just wanted to plan something for your education and future...that's all...and of course mummy felt upset over it when baba scolded mummy because he waited for very long...haiz mummy felt kind of innocent but just had to keep quiet to avoid further argument....at least now your education fee for tertiary studies should be ok now...it's worthwhile :)
