Today was a very busy day! We went to Yishun Polyclinic early in the morning as we need to see the doctor and get him/her to certify you have recovered and are fit to go back to the school. We got a letter from the doctor and left the clinic for a scheduled childcare center visit opposite Sembawang MRT Station Blk 350B and 350C named MY World Preschool. Baba and you waited in the car while mummy had a meet-up with the Principal. The Principal, Esther guided mummy around and showed mummy the whole place. This childcare looked a bit old but mummy was informed that they are going to renovate the entire childcare center in July/ August 2016 and they are also in the midst of requesting for an extension to Blk 350A or 350C. All the children there seemed to be very happy and they are very courteous. Though the place is older, mummy decided to secure a vacancy for you first since they only have the last 2 vacancies left for Playgroup. The Principal got mummy filled up a lot of forms and also made the registration fee of $53.50. This Principal was quite flexible as most of the childcare centers will request for registration fees, first month school fee, 1 month deposit and all the misc fees to be paid up in order to secure a place but here we only need to pay the registration fee and the remaining amount can be paid either in cash or cheque when you starts school next year in April 2016. Mummy hopes that if you really enrol to this center, the renovation will start sooner and the new environment will be better with all the caring and patient teachers who love and care for you. Anyway, at the same time we also need to wait for the reply from your current Childcare center, i.e. My First Skool to give us a confirmation on the vacancy when Feb 2016 comes. If distance is not a problem, mummy definitely wants to put you at the new childcare center, i.e. E-bridge Preschool. Sometimes we can't ask for too much or the best in life, we just have to see how it goes...mummy truly hopes no matter which childcare center you will eventually settle down at it will be a good environment for you to grow and learn. After spending about 1 hour at the childcare center, we went back home to take a rest as we still need to rush for the appointment at KK hospital at 3.20pm. This appointment was meant to review your tongue-tie issue and schedule for the surgery.
We reached the hospital and waited for our Q number to be called. The doctor review your condition and advised that it is best to let you undergo the operation before you turn 2 years old or start to learn to speak. After some discussions, the doctor said it will be okay to schedule a surgery to release the lingual frenulum before Chinese New Year, i.e. End Jan 2016. Mummy was told the surgery schedule only available on every Monday and Thursday and it will be operated by Professor Henry Tan's team. Since we are under subsidized rate hence we are not able to appoint any specific doctor to operate for you. But mummy believed that under the management of Professor Henry Tan (head of ENT department) everything will go smoothly. We only have to pray...mummy hopes this is the best decision to let you undergo this operation so that it will not affect your speech or affect your self-esteem due to the heart shaped tongue caused by the lingual frenulum. You will definitely be fine after the surgery...南无大慈大悲救苦救难观世音菩萨请加持保佑！娘娘保佑！
Your operation date has been scheduled at 14 Jan 2016. The hospital will inform mummy 1 day prior to the operation about the operation time and your diet restriction guideline. Mummy is still trembling whenever thinking of it. So, please be okay...恩
