[15 Feb 2016] Your first 薯条

Mummy sent a message to mummy's boss, Teck Sin and informed that mummy needed to apply an urgent leave today to bring you to see a doctor. Since mummy chose the 9am timeslot, mummy had to depart from home and carried you on a carrier at about 8.15am.
We reached polyclinic before 9am. At the reception, a nurse measured your temperature and acknowledged the high fever running on you and allowed you to cut Q. A new Q number was issued to you and we only waited for less than 5minutes before your Q number was being called.
The doctor examined on you and mummy also elaborated your condition which mummy observed. Mummy told doctor that you had very bad appetite and seemed to be very fussy especially when mummy fed you with a bottle. The doctor examined your throat and noticed there are 4 ulcers deep inside your throat! Oh no, poor baby!!!! No wonder, you even refused your favourite milk!
You refused to drink the milk even after so many hours without water and food. Then mummy decided to bring you to Subway to have your favourite bread while mummy could have breakfast also. But to mummy's surprise, you even refused to eat it and became very fussy abd wanted to leave the restaurant. Mummy quickly had big mouthful on the sandwich to finish the sandwich and brought the coffee along then left the restaurant.
Since tonight after 11pm will be 初九, mummy needs to worship to 天公. Mummy brought you to Cold Storage to buy 鸡冠花and红花, then went to Fairprice to buy chrysanthemum. After that, we went back to Sembawang by MRT again.
You seemed to be very very tired. Mummy bathed you and tried to feed you again but you refused to drink again. Mummy continue to feed you Paracetamol to control your body temperature but it didn't help with your throat. Mummy started to worry as your fluid intake is so much lower than usual:(
You became even more fussy but when mummy lied down on the playmat, you quickly sat on mummy's back and played again! Haha naughty 恩!
Mummy thought yogurt would help be a trick to soothe your throat and numb the pain caused by the ulcers but...you refused again :(
Baba called mummy up and informed mummy that he would be home late as he needed to complete some assigned jobs. Oh no, mummy had to take care of you and prepare for everything to worship 天公 all alone.
In the evening, mummy decided to have dinner at Mcdonald as mummy had no time to prepare for the dinner. 4姨kept calling and try to convince mummy to buy a tub of vanilla ice-cream to soothe your pain. Intially mummy thought ice-cream is very unhealthy for you as junk food but after that mummy thought so long as you will drink more after that then mummy is ok with that.
We went to Mcdonald and mummy ordered a fillet-o-fish set with fries. You secretly took 1 french fries while mummy didn't 'guard' it probably! Ha your first fries!
Your fluid intake dropped significantly, you drank less than 300ml a day and this is very worrying. Mummy decided to bring you to see doctor for consultation again on the next day. Stay healthy, 恩:( it always breaks mummy's heart whenever you are sick:(

[14 Feb 2016] Valentine's Day but...no celebration!

Valentine's day but we didn't go out as baba didn't plan for anything as usual.
After breakfast at Mcdonald, Mummy decided to make today more meaningful for you. Today would be the best day to try out the drawing tools and colour sets which mummy purchased online earlier on. Other than the drawing tools and colour sets, mummy also bought a table, chair, a paper dispenser roller and a drawing apron. You looked cute when mummy put the apron on you. This is to prevent the colours stain on your clothes but indirectly this apron also makes you looked so adorable! Hehe
Baba stayed in another room while mummy spent time to accompany you to do the colouring in the living room. For not making you feel being left out by baba, mummy decided to get baba out of the room and spend some quality time to accompany you while you are exploring a new interest, i.e. Colouring!
Mummy likes your palm prints and all the freestyles strokes. Mummy even held your hand and led you to write your name '恩'. This is probably the most precious valentine's day gift for mummy. Thank you :)
As evening time came, your body started to be feverish. Mummy quickly measured your temperature with a thermometer and realised that you started to run on a very high fever! Oh something is really not right. Mummy decided to feed you 4.6ml of paracetamol as what the doctor prescribed to you the last time then check your temperature every half an hour. Your fever seemed to go away but come back after a few hours. Mummy decided to wait after 12midnight then login to Polyclinic website to make an online appointment and bring you to see a doctor tomorrow instead. Please get well soon, 恩!

[13 Feb 2016] 年初六

Today is a Saturday and 年初六. We just stayed at home in the morning.
Mummy bought a few flash card sets for you and today you had a glimpse at one of the many sets which teaches ABC. You seemed to enjoy the flash cards a lot as there are pictures on each card and you tended to play it like toys as in you picked up the cards, carried them above your head, threw them down and screamed with excitement! Haha
琴阿姨and husband brought 欢馨妹妹 to our house for visiting at about 4pm while baba was sleeping. 欢馨妹妹 was so chubby and adorable!
In the evening, baba suggested to go to the new shopping center named Punggol Waterway Shopping Center. It is a very big shopping center but we didn't really shop a lot as we spent most of the time to wait for seats to have dinner.
We left the shopping center at about 9pm then baba drove 琴阿姨 they all home.

[12 Feb 2016] 年初五

Mummy had gone back to work again. As usual, mummy sent you to infant care center before mummy went to work; whereas baba is still on leave.
Tonight we went to baba relative's house to 拜年 and have dinner after mummy off from work. We went back home at about 9 plus at night then have a video call with 阿公阿婆 when we reached home at about 10pm.

[11 Feb 2016] 年初四 + 阿婆的农历生日

大年初四是阿婆的农历生日。今天阿姨们决定开车到新加坡来到我们家一齐庆祝阿婆的生日。阿姨们一大清早就到我们家了！妈咪准备了捞鱼生及火锅来招待大家。这也是阿舅第一次来我们的家哦！大家玩的很开心、合乐融融。
傍晚，我们一行人驱车到vivocity的《店小二》吃晚餐。我们点了两只十全大补鸭、两盘拧片炒芥兰、两锅海鲜鱼缥汤、两盘苋菜及两盘蒙古排骨。大家都吃的很开心哦！

[10 Feb 2016] 年初三

Today mummy resumed work. 开工大吉. Mummy sent you to infant care center in the morning while baba is still sleeping, then baba woke up at about 11 plus and went to pick you up then brought you to 爷爷奶奶家 since baba will be on leave till Friday. How mummy wishes mummy could apply leave and bring you to 阿公阿婆家 as well.
During the lunch time, while mummy had lunch with colleagues, baba called mummy up and told mummy that you had mild diarrhea. Though mummy told him that mummy has prepared all the necessary medicines for you at home and diaper bags, he refused to bring you home to take medicine although it is a mere 10-15minutes train ride. Baba started to scold mummy over the phone again then mummy had to pretend smiling in front of colleagues again haiz....
I knew baba won't bring you home to take the medicine as he wanted to stay at 爷爷奶奶家 hence I sent a screenshoot of smecta which can cure your diarrhea and told him to go and get it for you. He did not reply mummy until mummy called him up and told him where can he get it. And again, nagging nagging nagging....anyway, forget it!
5姨 came back! All other 阿姨 take group photos without mummy. How mummy wishes mummy could join too :(
After work, baba told me to go to 爷爷奶奶家 after work as we need to go baba's relative's house again. When mummy reached 爷爷奶奶家, he pretended to be nice to mummy again...oh, mummy didn't wish to buy the idea but no choice.
We stayed at baba's relative's house till about 9 plus and went back home.

[09 Feb 2016] 年初二

Today is 年初二，回娘家日. As usual, mummy can't go straight home but need to go to baba's relatives' houses to 拜年. We went to baba's 大姑、2姑、大伯、3姑家 拜年 before we went to 阿公阿婆家. That goes without saying, we missed the train! We took a bus across the causeway then took a taxi to 阿公阿婆家. By the time we reached 阿公阿婆家 it was almost 4.30pm but at least baba smiled a little bit. 大姨、2姨and 3姨 were already at 阿公阿婆家since noon time. 4姨 reached 阿公阿婆家 awhile later. 
Today most of us wore blue and white. What a coincidence! Hehe
At night, 3姨姨丈 drove us to catch the train but unfortunately we missed the train due to the heavy traffic while on the way to the train station. The custom was very crowded and we only reached home at about 11.45pm. Baba got angry again :( yeah, tomorrow mummy will resume work and can temporarily put this a semicolon. Though in the past mummy really loved chinese new year and definitely will apply a few more days to enjoy with family, now mummy prefers to resume work asap to stop all unexpected nonsense coming from baba. Haiz, when will baba be more open-minded and let mummy enjoy Chinese New Year like before :(
