Today is 年初二，回娘家日. As usual, mummy can't go straight home but need to go to baba's relatives' houses to 拜年. We went to baba's 大姑、2姑、大伯、3姑家 拜年 before we went to 阿公阿婆家. That goes without saying, we missed the train! We took a bus across the causeway then took a taxi to 阿公阿婆家. By the time we reached 阿公阿婆家 it was almost 4.30pm but at least baba smiled a little bit. 大姨、2姨and 3姨 were already at 阿公阿婆家since noon time. 4姨 reached 阿公阿婆家 awhile later.
Today most of us wore blue and white. What a coincidence! Hehe
At night, 3姨姨丈 drove us to catch the train but unfortunately we missed the train due to the heavy traffic while on the way to the train station. The custom was very crowded and we only reached home at about 11.45pm. Baba got angry again :( yeah, tomorrow mummy will resume work and can temporarily put this a semicolon. Though in the past mummy really loved chinese new year and definitely will apply a few more days to enjoy with family, now mummy prefers to resume work asap to stop all unexpected nonsense coming from baba. Haiz, when will baba be more open-minded and let mummy enjoy Chinese New Year like before :(
