Happy 17 months, 恩恩! Mummy loves you!
Today is 初一. You seemed to know this big day and refused to turned in early till about 1.30am! You got an ang pao from mummy which full of blessings and loves!
We all stayed up late since 除夕 and turned in after 1am.
The next day morning, mummy woke up at about 8.30am and started to prepare for 甜汤 and 斋菜 as usual. Then mummy woke both you and baba up at about 9.30am.
Mummy sensed that today is not going to be a good day for mummy again as baba will surely vent his anger again when it's time to go to 阿公阿婆家. Though all these were compromised before marriage, every year baba will still get angry because of this as he felt that he spent too much time at 阿公阿婆家.
We went to 爷爷奶奶家拜年, then went to another relative's house to 拜年as well. Baba had no intention to rush for the train at 1.30pm until one of the relative asked how will we go to Malaysia later. Baba wanted to protect his pride and showed that he will go to Malaysia with us by train to JB, then we left 爷爷奶奶家 but mummy's nightmare started. Baba started to show his anger. We took the train and reached JB, 大姨姨丈 were waiting for us. We reached 阿公阿婆家 and baba showed his unhappiness and refused to talk to anyone. When mummy wanted to carry you when you accidentally hurt yourself with a wooden stick, he refused and bang mummy away and even scolded mummy. Oh, mummy was so shocked about this as baba seemed to be so violent but mummy just pretended nothing happened when mummy went downstairs from room. It was quite scary to mummy too.
At night, we stayed till 8.30pm then 3姨姨丈drove us to train station to catch the train at 10.15pm and back to Singapore.
Baba still showed his anger and went oit alone when we reached home. Haiz...mummy does not like chinese new year anymore like before. Mummy truly hopes that baba will be more open-minded and remember what he promised mummy before getting married and not angry over what he promised :( anyway, mummy loves Chinese New Year because of you too. Thanks for being there :)
