Today is 阿婆的阳历生日. Mummy knew baba will be very unhappy again if he knows that mummy will bring you to JB but mummy really wanted to spend some time to have a cup of tea or kopi or even a meal with 阿婆 on her birthday. To mummy, mummy cherishes every moment that mummy is able to spend with family especially on special days like birthdays and traditional festive seasons. Ever since mummy got married to baba, baba always shows his unhappiness and even anger whenever mummy wants to travel to Malaysia with/ without you and spend time with family. Nevertheless, mummy insisted to go ahead as mummy really didn't wish to be restricted by baba and sacrifice the time with family in Malaysia. Hence most of the time when mummy insisted to join family in Malaysia, baba will just let mummy to be alone. Mummy is so thankful that you always behave so well whenever mummy brings you along and mummy really appreciates your companion.
To a lot of strangers, mummy seems to be a very 'pitiful' married woman since mummy always a lonely soul who appears at custom no matter during pregnancy with big baby bump and now a married woman who carried a baby (you) all alone and cross the border without husband. Mummy had learned to hear no evil and see no evil since baba doesn't want to accompany mama or spend time with mummy's family but now mummy has you to keep mummy's company. Thank you so much.
Anyway, mummy had booked afternoon train ticket at 1.30pm so that mummy will still be able to spend time with 阿婆 to have high-tea on her 64th birthday. Although prior our departure to the custom, baba vented his anger with all unbearable comments and scoldings, mummy had to stay calmed so that mummy can go to JB as planned. Mummy carried you with a baby carrier as usual and carried a bulky diaper bag and dashed to train station. It was a mere 5 minutes train ride but the train only set off at 2pm. We reached JB custom at about 2.05pm, 大姨 was already waited outside of the train station for more than 30 minutes as usual. She then drove us to meet 阿公阿婆 for some snacks and afternoon tea at 土司坊.
Since we need to catch the train back to Singapore again at 7pm and we do not have too much time to hang around, we decided to stay at 2姨家 to have some quality time. 4姨came to 2姨家 to catch up with us then drove us to her house to pick 4姨丈 up before they drives us to the train station.You played he piano at 4姨家 and seemed to be so happy.
We left 4姨家 at about 6pm and headed to train station so that we are in time to catch the train back to Singapore. Mummy had dinner with you at Subway which located at Causeway Point as usual.
it is another short day trip to Malaysia but at least mummy is able to meet up with family and most importantly is to be able to have some quality time with 阿婆 on her birthday. That's enough
